New Thor Axis models have a GVWR of up to 14,500 pounds and therefore do not require a CDL, or commercial driver's license, to operate.1 These RVs have a sleeping capacity of three, four, or five people and come with interior features like theater seating or a full sofa.
Class A motor home dimensions vary by brand, model, and floor plan, but most Class A RVs are between 11 and 14 feet tall and measure 26 to 45 feet long and up to 8.5 feet wide. Nearly all Class A and Class C motor homes have showers; some are "wet," which means the shower is combined with the toilet area, and some are "dry," meaning the shower has its own stall. While the vast majority of Class B motor homes are equipped with, at minimum, a wet bath, some smaller or older Class B RVs may omit showers from their designs to maximize living space.

Over the years we have purchased 2 different motorhomes from Riverside. One used and the other new. The experience was great. I purchased a Thor Compass in August 2023. It was a pleasant experience. Mrs Banks called us with updates on the campers arrival. The office staff is helpful and professional as well. We’ve brought the coach in for service and the service department is friendly and efficient.

Fantastic customer service! Service manager Tom and his entire staff performed over and above my expectations. While trouble shooting an unscheduled LP gas leak on my class A motor home, they immediately began inspecting and testing. They even drove me to near by suppliers when they did not have the needed part. Highly recommended.
